Have you thought about achieving a Google Certified Partner status for your company? Many companies are not aware of the importance and benefits of achieving Google Partner status. Applying and achieving Google Partner status can help you take your business to the next level. Let’s discuss the benefits of becoming a Google Partner and how to become one.
When you become a Google Partner, you will receive a Google Partner badge. There are two levels of badges, the Google Partner badge and the Premier Google Partner badge. Whichever one you receive, which is dependent on level of certifications you achieve, among other factors, then you can showcase the badge on your website, other online properties, and even offline materials that your company uses for marketing. This is a good way to instill your clients and prospects with confidence about your company’s expertise and experience. You can also earn specific recognition through your Partner status, which showcases your business’s expertise in a certain Google product area, such as Search, Display, or Youtube (video). Your company’s profile will be listed in the Google Partner search, as well as gain access to training sessions and support. The training sessions are clear and concise, with helpful visual elements and videos. These trainings can help you and your team better understand specific tactics and strategies to improve performance for your company and its clients.
After becoming a Google Partner, your company will receive access to a personal contact with Google, who will provide support and help with how to effectively communicate the Google Suite of products to your prospects. They will also review individual accounts under your AdWords Client Center, and give you feedback on improvements if any exist. You will also receive invitations to Google seminars and events, giving you and your team a chance to meet your personal Google contact, and attend trainings and insight into the best current practices available.
For the Google Partner certification, you will first need to create a Partner’s company profile, and then get 1 affiliated individual that is certified in AdWords to show that your company has advanced knowledge of the AdWord’s platform. Then, to show that your company has enough activity to qualify for the badge, you will need to spend $10,000 in ad requirement over a 90-day period. And finally, your company will have to meet the performance requirement, showing Google that you are achieving solid ad spend and growth, and are also growing and maintaining your customer base.
For the Premier Google Partner badge, you will first need to create a Partner’s company profile, and then get 2 affiliated individuals that are certified in AdWords to show that your company has advanced knowledge of the AdWords program. You will then have to meet a certain spend requirement to prove that your business has enough activity. And finally, you will need to meet the performance requirement, showing Google that you are achieving solid ad and performance growth, and are also growing and maintaining your customer base.
In summary, the Google Partner Program plays an important role in helping your company become visible to consumers and other businesses within the list of Google Partners. The Google partner program offers other avenues to improve your company’s presence online as well as adding to your company’s credibility.
