What you'll be doing as a Digital Sales Director:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Identify and prospect new clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals leveraging a full suite of industry tools.
  • Continually build a deep understanding of clients' advertising needs and provide scalable solutions.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand clients' digital advertising objectives and challenges and provide scalable solutions.
  • Present and demonstrate our digital advertising solutions to key stakeholders, showcasing the Strategus value proposition and benefits.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring win-win outcomes for both the client and the company.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients post-sale, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account management, marketing, operations, and BDRs to ensure a seamless pre- and post-sales process.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide consultative advice to clients.
  • Provide regular forecasts of your business.
  • Meet and exceed your individual revenue goals.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand your professional network and generate new leads.
  • Plan travel to your assigned region to build deeper relationships and develop new accounts.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of demonstrated outside sales success in B2B sales, preferably within the digital advertising or media industry. Experience selling Connected TV advertising is highly desirable.
  • Hunter mentality with a proactive and results-oriented approach to sales, with a proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities through diligent prospecting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at various levels of an ad agency or organization.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales prospecting tools.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of CTV industry trends and emerging technologies in the digital advertising space.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.

The target annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 based on experience, plus commission.

About This Role

We're seeking a dynamic Project/Business Operations Coordinator to be the connective tissue that keeps Strategus running smoothly. This is a hybrid role (with approximately 3 days/week in our Denver office). You'll be our go-to problem solver, the person who makes things happen, and the friendly face that keeps our team organized and energized. Think of yourself as part project manager, part office superhero, and part culture champion.

What You'll Do (Spoiler Alert: It's Never Boring!)

Event Planning & Administrative Excellence

  • Coordinate in-person gatherings, from team lunches to board meetings
  • Support travel arrangements and meeting logistics
  • Help plan and execute client events and industry award ceremonies
  • Coordinate and support new hire onboarding and company swag/gifting distribution

Project Management & Communication

  • Create and maintain project timelines, keeping everyone on track
  • Schedule team and company meetings
  • Help build presentation decks and communications content
  • Generate dashboards and reports that help teams make better decisions

Technology & Operations

  • Partner with our third-party IT team on various initiatives and compliance requirements
  • Manage software licenses, tools, and vendor partnerships
  • Troubleshoot office issues with a "figure it out" mentality (yes, this includes fixing or replacing the coffee maker when it inevitably breaks)

  • Serve as the "go-to" person when someone needs help, even if you don't know the answer yet
  • Support our team with collateral requests and materials
